Auntie Sandi's Granola

2 1/2 C. rolled oats
1 C. sliced almonds
1/3 C. pure maple syrup
1/3 C. cold pressed sunflower oil
1/3 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 to 1/2 C. unsweetened coconut

Optional: flax or sesame seed

I LOVE coconut so I used 1 C. instead of the recommended amount. The kids love it. They have been eating it on Brown Cow maple cream top yogurt for breakfast.

Mix together and spread on a cookie sheet

Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown

Cool 10 minutes
